Join us on Monday, September 7th (Labour Day) at 7:00 pm via Zoom for a presentation by Thomas LaClair, President of the Jefferson County NY Genealogical Society, based in Watertown, NY. Tom will be speaking about The Family History Resources of Jefferson County, NY.
He’ll tell us about the resources held by the Jefferson County Genealogical Society, and those in the Flower Memorial Library that might be of interest to Leeds & Grenville family historians, as well as describing the 22 communities that make up Jefferson County, and other resources of interest.
Raised on a dairy farm in Clayton, NY, Tom served a 28-year career in the United States Air Force. Following this, he joined the Jefferson County Historical Society Board, where he led the creation of the History and Genealogy Fair, an annual event that continues today. More recently, Tom served 6 years as Clayton Town and Village Historian. He is currently the President of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society. To register for this presentation, click here.
